Miou Aida and Haruki Serizawa may appear to be polar opposites to others around them, but as the two third-years prepare to finish high school, they couldn't be more alike. While Miou is a quiet and cautious member of the school art club who tries to keep out of the spotlight, Haruki is the noisy and confident ace of the movie club who has previously won honors for his directorial abilities. Despite their great contrasts in personality, they instantly become friends following a prior fortuitous encounter during their school entry ceremony. But, much to their friends' surprise, despite their developing intimacy, they've never become anything more than that. Miou and her friends are nearing the end of their high school careers.
